Greetings

I would like to welcome everyone to my new JBK-Renewable-Energy Blog.  I hope that this blog can be a forum for sensible, intelligent, and insightful discussion of issues relating to renewable energy.

Although the name does not indicate this, I would like to include Energy Efficiency in the discussions (the JBK-Renewable-Energy-and-Energy-Efficiency Blog would have been too much of a mouthful!).  While an energy-efficient building is not as cool to look at as a wind turbine or a bank of solar panels, I actually have more faith in Energy Efficiency as a means to address climate change issues.

But I want to welcome all opinions, as long as they are informed and well-thought out.
