Energy Department’s National Clean Energy Business Plan Competition

Clean energy #entrepreneurship was on full display at the final round of the Energy Department’s National Clean Energy Business Plan Competition in #Washington, D.C., this week. Hyliion from Carnegie Mellon University took home first place and the $50,000 prize for its add-on hybrid module that reduces#fuel consumption for heavy duty trucks. Our office also announced awardees for the Cleantech University Prize, a $2.5 million funding opportunity that will support the commercialization of promising technologies that reduce #carbon #pollution and grow the clean #energy #economy.
