Heavy duty trucks such as these fueled by natural gas are better for the environment and use much less oil than their diesel counterparts. Recently, our National Clean Fleets partner Ryder System, Inc. announced its vehicle fleet has run more than 30 million miles on liquefied and compressed natural gas. Since joining our program in 2011, the company has replaced approximately 4.6 million gallons of diesel fuel with domestically-produced natural gas.
