Go Algae!

From the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy:

#Algae has the potential to produce billions of gallons of renewable diesel, gasoline and jet fuels to increase America’s #energy independence. Our Bioenergy Technologies Office continues to fund research to lower the cost of turning algae into #biofuels. Research at the Energy Department’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory - PNNL was recently highlighted in The Sequim Gazette.
